Supplies for your Unicorn Pancake Recipe

How to make Unicorn party food

Begin by combining all of your dry ingredients and sift them together. Add your wet ingredients and whip until combined and smooth.

Divide your batter into two bowls and add your food coloring gel until you get the color you want. I used a few drops of red to get the pink and the violet was a bit more heavy-handed.

I like to allow my mix to settle for about 10-15 minutes but it's not a vital step to take. You want to heat a skillet or a grill pan over medium heat and spray with non-stick spray or butter. When using butter, you always want to wipe the excess because it will burn in the pan and leave your pancakes kind of bitter.

Use 1/4 cup to drop your batter onto your skillet. Allow bubbles to form and then flip it when the edges are browned.
