Create an easy farmhouse Christmas wreath using moss and wire garland You’ll want to spend the few extra dollars to get a green wreath form. I didn’t think that far ahead and just decided I could easily spray paint it. Don’t. The paint eats the foam and it turns sticky. I knew this but I didn’t think very far ahead. I used a 12″ wreath form that I picked up from my local Joann store.Create an easy farmhouse Christmas wreath using moss and wire garlandI also grabbed these wire garlands. For a wreath form this big, you’ll use all of one and a bit of the second. Just grab a smaller wreath form and you’ll only need to grab one wire garland. Create an easy farmhouse Christmas wreath using moss and wire garlandI began by hot gluing all the moss on the wreath form. I used what I had on hand but if I was going to buy the moss, I’d pick the moss ribbon or something that comes in a sheet rather than the small bits of moss. I used 2 full packages of the small moss.Create an easy farmhouse Christmas wreath using moss and wire garlandJust find random places to fill in the wreath and get a good covering. It doesn’t need to go all the way to the back because that won’t show. Just cover the wreath form as full as you want it.Create an easy farmhouse Christmas wreath using moss and wire garlandTo wrap the wire garland, start with the wire in the back of the form. Wrap it all around the form in the clockwise direction. When the wire intersects, begin wrapping it around the opposite way. This will help the X’s form in the wreath. The tighter you wrap, the more definition in the farmhouse Christmas wreath you’ll get.Create an easy farmhouse Christmas wreath using moss and wire garlandThat’s it! So easy and fun to create this farmhouse Christmas wreath and bring the look into your own home.
