My kids' bathroom has been needing an update since we've moved in here almost 8 years ago. The walls have always been white, the hardware has been missing for about 5 years now and I just can't find a shower curtain that I love to go with these white walls.

Before

It's one of those rooms you just can't figure out. I entered a giveaway on Home by Heidi a while ago as she was wallpapering her closet. I was so excited when I won because there is some chic wallpaper these days. I was given $150 to choose from whatever Wallpaper Warehouse carried. Unfortunately on their site I couldn't find what I wanted but I knew a trick. I knew I could go to the manufacturer's website and find what they had and WW could order it in for me. Perfection! I found a lot of great choices and if you follow me on Instagram, you would've seen that I narrowed it down to a few choices.

I really loved all of these. I knew for choice 2 it really would have brought the room dark and I could bring that in with the linens. With choice 3, I knew I could do that with some vinyl. To me, it was really down to 1&4. I love them both but I couldn't get over that I think that 4 kind of looks like Subway sandwich shops. I do think it's much more chic, I just couldn't do it. I think when we move though, I'll take the leap.

I went with choice 1, the Euro scene. It has tiny pops of color that I just really love. It's got a bit of red, beige and fuchsia. It's not a true white, it's more ivory. I do like a little color in my home but not too much. I'm learning to bring it back a notch. When I was 14 my mom let me remodel my room in the bottom corner of the house, I chose 4 colors for the walls – pink, yellow, green and purple. It's embarrassing and I don't want to talk about it. I did end up toning it down with over 800 N'SYNC pictures. Ahhhh, TMI!

Back to the bathroom, I've bought a few towels in grey, pink and mustard. The shower curtain is black and white stripe and I'm going to add some more detail in on the curtain. It's definitely not a finished product and so I hope that you'll join me on this fun little adventure of my bathroom beautification! Stay tune for my next post where I'll show off these awesome, high quality accessories by Moen. I can't recommend them enough!

XOXO, Lindsay

G’day from Oz. That looks so good now-I love that wallpaper!

If you have a minute to spare I’d be thrilled if you could share your post at my weekly Say G’Day Saturday linky party. It has just started and this would be a fabulous addition.

Best wishes for a great weekend.

Fun project! I love that wallpaper and the colors in it. I happen have a Paris bathroom (without the wallpaper). Mine has a bench and matching mirror thing with fun knobs for towels that has Eiffel tower on it. It would look really nice in your room! 🙂

Super cute! I have a Wallternatives gift certificate and want to use it on some of their wallpaper for one of our bathrooms, but I’m not sure I can get the hubster behind it. Let us know how the wallpaper holds up in the wetter environment of the bathroom!
