DIY Hot Wheels Storage & Display for all your Die Cast Cars!

April 11, 2019

Is your child obsessed with Matchbox Cars and you don’t know where to put them? I’ve got an easy way to make your own Hot Wheels storage display that any cars crazed kid will love.

Malakai is crazy for his cars and he has a bit of OCD tendencies when he wants to arrange them. They’ve got to be facing the correct way and he wants to know they’re going to stay that way. My husband and I came up with this toy car storage solution so that I won’t have cars all over my desk and they can be displayed just how he likes them. Create this Hot Wheels storage to make your life a little easier like it’s made mine.

If you didn’t know, Malakai was born premature so he really does have OCD tendencies when it comes to really anything. He will cry for longer than I like to admit and so for my sanity this had to happen. We also have about a 1500 sq. ft. house and so a large toy car storage solution isn’t very practical for us.

We used some inexpensive 3X.5″ planks and some L brackets to set this up. My husband also decided to give his brother my Ryobi nail gun so this was done the old-fashioned way with some nails and good ole elbow grease and some math. I’m glad it’s up though because his toy cars were getting out of control.

Supplies for your DIY Toy Car Storage

  • 3X.5″ Wood Planks
  • L Brackets
  • Nails and Hammer or Nail Gun
  • Wood Putty
  • Mouse Sander and Sand Paper
  • Wood Stain
  • Cheesecloth
  • Drill
  • Wall Screws

How to make a Display for your Diecast Cars

We began by measuring the small area of our corner. Our cutout on this wall is 34″ high and so we began by figuring out how high we wanted it to go. I didn’t want it to be exactly where the wall cut off so we measured and cut two boards 32″ high as our endcaps.

We then measured how wide we needed the wooden planks for your car toy display. The other side of this corner wall is a large window so one side was longer than the other. The width on the smaller length of the wall is 34″ wide and on the longer side we cut the boards to be 50″ wide.

Cut your wood planks to those lengths and then cut one side on each board on a 45-degree angle to create the corner pieces and so that they’ll match flush.

The base of our toy car display is right on top of our baseboard. He can have cars on the floor and then build up the car display case and place them on each shelf having their eyes look right at him and he’s as content as can be.

How to attach your Hot Wheels Storage to the Walls

In the corners, we used the L Brackets so that the boards would not bend and they were supported. You can use a Kreg Jig but don’t ask me how to do it. This isn’t so much a permanent fixture in our home so I wanted it just to be up and something that can easily be taken down for when we move.

Secure one side of the bracket to the board before you assemble completely. Put two on each corner piece. Each board is 3″‘ apart, Use some finishing nails and secure the wooden planks together and then use your wood filler to fill in the nail hole and seams.

Wait for it to dry and then sand the wood filler as smooth as possible. Use a mouse sander because that’ll cut your time in half with that tool alone.

One thing we didn’t do while it was off the wall was stained it and that was the worst mistake we made. Stain your wood using some mixed stain and a cheesecloth. Wipe it on your wood and let it sit for a few minutes then wipe with a clean cloth.

And just so you know, I did have to wait until Malakai was at the babysitter before I could arrange the cars the way I wanted them to look. They’re already on the floor. LOL

FREE First Aid SVG File and How I Keep Us Healthy in the Winter

December 6, 2018

Winter is busy enough as it is but you’ve got to learn ways to help you combat sickness so you won’t add more stress to the holiday season. Here are some tips & tricks to help you stay healthy in the winter months and how to get your Vick’s Holiday Fix.

This conversation is sponsored by Vick’s available at Walmart. All opinions are my own and this post does contain affiliate links.

If you’ve been a reader of my blog for a while, you’ll know that my son Malakai was born 16 weeks early. That’s right on the cusp of survival. In fact, he only had a 10% chance of surviving. He was born at the end of September and so going into the winter months we had to be conscious of us staying healthy so he wouldn’t get sick.

Washing your hands in the NICU was just like a doctor scrubbing in for surgery. You’re given their anti-bacterial soap and a one-time use scrub brush. Wearing jewelry was not recommended and fake nails were also a no-no. Things like those can harbor germs and just add to an already complicated journey.

I decided then, and we still implement them today, that we needed to take precautionary steps to avoid illness and the spreading of germs in the winter months.

For two years he got a Synagis shot which geared up his immune system to fight off RSV. It worked but still when he would get a cold, it just takes him longer to fight it off. A cold for me lasts 7-10 days, he takes over two weeks to get over it.

Supplies for your DIY First-Aid Kit

Depending on what surface you’re going to put your first aid SVG file you’re going to want HTV for fabric and be sure to mirror the image before you cut, or you’ll want standard vinyl if you’re putting your first aid image on plastic or wood and you do not need to mirror your image.

Cut your image and weed off the excess vinyl and then place your image on your surface and press. Use these tips for using iron-on vinyl with your Iron.

Be sure to follow manufacturers instructions before you apply your vinyl to make sure you’re using it correctly.

Gather your Vicks Nyquil with VapoCOOL and your Vicks VaporRub and place it inside your DIY First-Aid Kit. Don’t forget your band-aids, gauze, and some Bacitracin so that you’re covered for any cuts.

Tips & Tricks for Staying Healthy in the Winter

  • Stay inside as much as possible –

I know this is hard with little ones but the more you stay inside, the less you are susceptible to catching germs. You can easily do this more nowadays with Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup service.

Shopping online and choosing online grocery pick-up is so convenient. I just add items to my cart from grocery.walmart.com and choose when I can pick it up. Walmart will have everything ready to go for me and load it up in my car right in the parking lot. I haven’t been the same since I was introduced to Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup service. Find ways to save on Vicks products at Walmart below.

  • Keep your medications organized –

When you are sick, the last thing you want to be doing is looking for the medication that you need. Organize your medications using some bins in a closet or under your sink in the bathroom. Use a label maker and mark each bin with what they contain. Be prepared before you get hit with the cold bug.

  • Use Vicks’ new VapoCOOL formula –

Grab some of your go-to Vicks products with the new VapoCOOL, available at Walmart, to get the relief of your illness with the rush of Vick’s vapors. Keep your symptoms at bay so that you can get all you need to get done this holiday season. My go-to is Vicks NyQuil with VapoCOOL so that I can get a good nights rest before the festivities start gearing up.

  • Wash Your Hands –

This one is a no-brainer but we still need reminding when it comes to keeping our hands clean. Keep some mini hand sanitizer bottles in your purse or your desk so that you can kill germs at all times. This small bottle of sanitizer cost me less than $1 at my local Walmart. I grabbed a few to keep in the car and my bedside table.

  • Stay Warm –

I see a reflection of my mother in myself when I’m constantly telling the kids that they shouldn’t wear shorts when its 30ºF outside. Grab some cozy socks that are just for slipping on when getting into bed at night or a comfy pair of thermal pajamas. Winter gloves are also a must-have and also be sure to keep spare pairs in your car or your purse so you’re never without them.

  • Humidifier –

The air is so dry in the winter and since I live in Utah, it’s dry all year-round. I like to use a humidifier in all of our rooms to keep from having our throats dry up and our grossness wet so that we can cough it up. I prefer the cool-mist humidifiers and we have them on almost all winter long.

I use the Vicks VapoRub in addition to the humidifier so that we can have some relief on our chests and I am able to get some good deep breaths in.

Ways to save on Vicks at Walmart:

  • $1 off any Vicks product at Walmart (except drops, Sinex, and ZzQuil) – BrandSAVER coupon from the 11/25 newspaper
  • $1 off Vicks Nyquil at Walmart – iBotta offer
  • $0.75 off Vicks VapoDrops at Walmart – iBotta Offer
  • Bonus $1.25 rebate when you use both iBotta offers

I love using the Ibotta app to get rebates on my shopping. Just scan in your receipt and see the savings start rolling in.

Speech Therapy Food Board for Toddlers with FREE Printables

September 10, 2018

Does your child have a delay in their speech? I’ll show you the most helpful food board where you can help your toddler work on their speech and play a game at the same time.

This is a sponsored post from our friends at The Genius of Play. This post contains affiliate links and all opinions are my own.

Malakai was born at 24.5 weeks gestation. We knew when we got pregnant again, we were risking a 50/50 chance at whether he’d be premature. When my oldest son was born at 34 weeks, I feel he was preparing me for how to care for Leila, who was born at 30 weeks. And her the same for preparing me for Malakai.

I’m 34 and I’ve had 5 pregnancies, 4 births, and 3 of those were premature. While pregnancy is definitely not my strong suit, I feel like taking care of preemies just may be mine.

Freddie had zero intervention from state programs, Leila qualified for speech therapy and Malakai has had speech therapy, physical therapy, monthly EI visits and now he’s off to the public school program to follow him along after he turns 3 this month.

I’ve had many speech therapists suggest a lot of things but the thing they seemed to push was just to do what you can to be able to communicate. Constantly repeating the words they’re reaching for. Even if it doesn’t sound correct, they’re still trying to communicate so that is a positive thing. I’m going to show you this toddler speech therapy activity I came up with.

Begin by printing out my watercolor food printables on to some 65lb. cardstock. I gave you the options of the entire printable or the .svg files that you can use on your Cricut or Silhouette machine.

See my suggestions for cutting laminated paper with your Cricut below.

Instead of cutting them out individually, I upload the free food .svg file to Cricut Design Space. I printed them and cut them directly from the paper, then I run them through my Xyron laminate cartridge.

Cut each one out and then apply the stiffer side of the velcro to the back of the laminated cardstock. Place the softer side of the velcro to the cabinet or board. Then you can add 4 additional soft pieces of velcro to the cabinet so that they can pull what they want and place it there.

how to use transfer tape

I cut a piece of vinyl to adhere above asking him “What Do I Want To Eat Today?”.

This toddler speech therapy activity is helpful to children with speech delay because it shows them common food choices and allows them to learn how to voice it on their own.

My experience with speech therapy for my toddler

The speech therapist always tells me why it’s important that they hear words multiple times. They hear it and then realize that’s what it’s called and will eventually relay that same word to you when they’re needing something.

He has a tendency just to make whimpers to us when he wants something, I’ve learned with this toddler speech therapy activity that helps with food and with drinks. Malakai no longer just whimpers, he’s actually saying what he wants, when he wants it.

You start with simple sounds that they can learn and add more to in the future. Sounds like “ba”, “da”, “pa”, “guh”, and “huh”. Reach out to your local school district to see if they offer programs like this to you and also discuss with your pediatrician. You and your doctor can make an informed decision on what kind of therapy, if any, is necessary.

Malakai also had an issue when he needed tubes in his ears. If they seem to just make a wah noise or not really enunciating sounds, that could be a sign of your child’s ears not draining correctly. I arranged with my ENT to have ear tubes put in Malakai’s ears and I’d say within a month or two, he was got out some new sounds and words.

Can I cut laminated paper with my Cricut?

To cut laminated paper with your Cricut there a few things you need to know –

  1. You can only use colored cardstock with the Cricut Maker. The Cricut Explore can only read white cardstock.
  2. After you have used the Print Then Cut feature (You can learn how to use the Cricut Print and Cut feature here.), you want to run your entire printed sheet through the laminator.
  3. The laminated sheet will run through your Cricut machine exactly like it would if it wasn’t laminated.
  4. You want to choose the Poster Board setting on your Cricut to make sure that it cuts completely through the laminated paper.

DIY Care Package For NICU Parents and Their Babies

September 4, 2018

Create the perfect care package for NICU parents and their little tiny miracle. Learn all what you need to know about skin care for premature babies and important advice for NICU parents.

Because I’ve had two preemies before Malakai I kind of knew what to expect when it came to his care. However, because his skin was so much thinner and more delicate than the others, we had to really consider what exactly was going on his skin and what the ingredients were. JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo was really the best thing we were able to find that didn’t have any contraindications.[ad] What is the best skincare for preemies? I'm showing you all what to look for and how Johnson & Johnson has been a clear winner. #TrustinGentle #ChooseGentleI chose JOHNSON’S® because of the  formulation of their products. They are 100% gentle, and free of parabens, and phthalates. They’re also dye free, sulfate free, worry free. They have a new formulation for all of their products and have released a new JOHNSON’S® COTTONTOUCH™ Newborn Wash & Shampoo that is perfect for Malakai now and I’m sure perfect when he was just a preemie because,“The Brand You Trust, Now More Gentle Than Ever” and it is the #1 choice of hospitals.

What is a swaddle bath?

Our NICU used it on all the babies and we were able to do swaddle baths with Malakai which were great because he is so small. A swaddle bath is when you fill your tub of warm water, then you put some fleece fabric or blanket, then the baby and then you wrap the baby up in the swaddle so that they retain their heat. We continued to do these for Malakai until he was 6-7 months and when he stayed warm, he enjoyed his bath times more. This is my daughter Leila when we would do swaddle baths for her in 2010.

[ad] What is the best skincare for preemies? I'm showing you all what to look for and how Johnson & Johnson has been a clear winner. #TrustinGentle #ChooseGentleIs skin-to-skin for preemies worth it?

To this question, it’s always yes. It’s important to do it when the baby is born but when you have a premature baby, sometimes you can only do it a bit at a time. When we had Leila in 2010, the most they’d let us do is an hour at a time until she was stronger.

For Malakai, it was a different story. I didn’t get to hold him for 10 days. We’d watch his monitor and his ventilator settings to make sure he wasn’t getting too stimulated. We were able to hold him as long as he’d tolerate it. Some days it’d be the full 3 hours before his next cares, some days it was 20 minutes.  That’s why I feel a swaddle bath is always best for premature or even term newborns so that they get the sensation of warmth and comfort that we provide to them during skin-to-skin.[ad] What is the best skincare for preemies? I'm showing you all what to look for and how Johnson & Johnson has been a clear winner. #TrustinGentle #ChooseGentle

How do I take care of myself while my child is in the NICU?

First, your child is in the best place possible. Sometimes that is hard to realize because we are their parents and we know what to do. However, these nurses are dedicated to their work and also can be traumatized from having to deal with other premature infants.

I suffer from PTSD even three years later and a lot of therapy. There are times when I often have to close my eyes and take deep breaths and continue to remind myself that part of his life is over. The hospital still gives me anxiety with all the monitors and bells, I get very agitated and again have to do breathing exercises. I’m not sure when it will go away but I know a way I can help myself is to be sure to take care of myself and do other things besides sit in the hospital all day.

Movies, pampering, sleep, shopping, and other extra-curricular activities were so important to me as a mother because if I was taken care of, my child was properly taken care of. I wasn’t as overwhelmed by his cares and all the extras I needed to know because my mind was cleared and I was more attentive.

[ad] What is the best skincare for preemies? I'm showing you all what to look for and how Johnson & Johnson has been a clear winner. #TrustinGentle #ChooseGentleWhat should I include in a care package for NICU parents?

Be sure to include items for the parents and items that they’ll need for when the baby comes home. Remembering the parents and the baby are what is most important but also practicality has to come into play as well. Some of my best ideas are:

  • Gas Gift Cards
  • Coffee Gift Cards
  • Movie Tickets
  • Books
  • Heating Pads
  • Facial Masks
  • Sleep Masks
  • Nail Polish
  • Water Bottle
  • Walgreens Gift Card
  • Blankets
  • Pacifiers
  • Towels
  • Washcloths
  • Fleece Material
  • Baby Bath
  • JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo
  • New! JOHNSON’S® COTTONTOUCH™ Newborn Wash & Shampoo

Head to your local Walgreens and grab those for your friends or family whose child is in the NICU. I love going to Walgreens because I know it’s always open. There were many times where we would have to run grab something for Malakai and it was never a question of where we’d go. I know that their pharmacy is reliable in providing me the medications that he needed for so long after his birth. I remember us having to go to the Emergency Room in the middle of the night and the doctor sent us home a prescription. I knew that they were the only ones able to fill it for us.

But don’t forget that beginning on 8/26, you can save $1 on any 1 JOHNSON’S® lotion, wash, or hair care item, the offer expires 9/22.

[ad] What is the best skincare for preemies? I'm showing you all what to look for and how Johnson & Johnson has been a clear winner. #TrustinGentle #ChooseGentleWe’ve come a long way in our progress for all three of my premature children but especially Malakai. I wouldn’t have been able to give him the love and attention he needed if it weren’t for the generosity of others.

So tell me, what do you think would be a great addition to a care package for NICU parents? Head to your local Walgreens and create your own care package for NICU parents. #TrustInGentle[ad] What is the best skincare for preemies? DIY Alphabet Magnets for your Toddler

August 23, 2018

Do you love alphabet magnets but hate the look of them? Create these easy DIY alphabet magnets and be stylish as your child is learning how to spell. This post contains affiliate links, thank you for your support.

DIY alphabet magnets are easier to make than you think. I’ve included a free printable for you or if you have a Cricut or Silhouette, I’ve got the .png images of the individual letters. Use your Xyron Creative Station with the Laminate Magnet cartridge and create these in a matter of minutes.

Supplies for your DIY Alphabet Magnets

So, how do you make your own alphabet magnets?

Just print off the free printable and cut out the letters individually or you can do it by line. You’ll see that cutting out individual letters first isn’t really necessary because it all gets covered by the laminate protector and backed with the magnet sheet.

After you’ve run your letters through the Xyron Magnet Laminate, cut them out individually. The magnet sheet is thin enough that regular scissors do the trick.

What is the Xyron Magnet Laminate Cartridge?

The cartridge has two sides that runs through the Creative Station. It has the top side as a laminate and the bottom section is a thin magnet sheet. The Xyron Laminate Magnet cartridge comes in a 5″ size. You can use it on your 9″ Creative Station or a 5″ Creative Station. It is a refill cartridge that comes in a sturdy box so when you have it in storage, you won’t damage your cartridge.

Early Man Movie Review

February 13, 2018

Have you been wanting to see the new Early Man movie?

My kids and I had the opportunity to attend a press screening of the new Early Man movie that is being released on February 16, 2018. This movie was funny, had a lot of teachable moments and the claymation is always fantastic. From the creators of Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run, Early Man tells the story of a group of cavemen whose valley gets taken over by the the evil Lord Nooth. Football (or soccer to us Americans) is a sacred game and it was the game that their ancestors invented – however, they don’t know how to play at all.

Dug has dreams of fighting more than just rabbits. He has thoughts about doing something big and fighting mammoths. In a lot of ways, the professional football team is considered the mammoth of soccer. They don’t know how they’re going to win to get their village back but they are determined. This movie is child-friendly yet has a few subtle adult references that they won’t pick up on. My favorite character is Hognob, the loveable sidekick who is also a pig. He’s funny, he’s competitive and he just wants to play. He finally gets his chance and it’s hilarious.

I took all four of my kids. My teenager liked it but probably had hoped for more action. My 10 year-old sports fanatic loved it. My 8 year-old daughter was the one who really wanted to see this and she was delighted the whole time. I also took my 2 year-old and to my surprise, sat entertained the whole movie. It’s the perfect length of time to keep the kids engaged and entertained. With a run time of 100 minutes, these are the length of family movies I like.

There weren’t many times in the movie where it dragged on or seemed like a scene lasted longer than it needed to. It was perfect. I would see this again but I don’t know if I’d buy it to watch at home. If it was available on Netflix I’d definitely watch it again.

DIY Monthly Milestone Baby Blanket using Iron On Vinyl

January 10, 2018

Milestone baby blankets are everywhere. Learn how to use your Cricut and the Cricut EasyPress to create your very own monthly milestone baby blanket to have as a keepsake for your little one.monthly milestone blanket for baby

This post does contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support.

I’m so excited to be joining the Inspire My Creativity Link Party each month until June this year. It’ll bring some new challenges which I always love. Link up your post below! This month is DIY anything your heart desires.

This DIY milestone baby blanket was so easy to create using my Cricut Maker and using my Cricut EasyPress to secure the iron-on. Begin by installing the Autumn in November font to your computer, the link is below.

If you’re creating doing this on your tablet or phone, you’ll have to choose a Cricut font that works. Each number is 6″ tall and about 6″ apart. Lay it out beforehand to help reduce the stress of making the milestone blanket.

Supplies needed to make your own baby milestone blanket –

Next, cut out each number and I’ve also included the words month and months if you want to add that at the bottom.

When using Cricut Iron-On, it’s important to remember to mirror the image.

You’ll want to place it shiny side down on the mat and cut using the iron-on setting. Do not use the HTV setting with your Maker. For some reason, it is cutting completely through. You just want it to cut the vinyl and keep the carrier sheet intact. how to make a milestone blanket with cricutyou’ll remove all the negative space and then cut each month number separately so that you can lay it out before you press. I did not follow any milestone blanket template. I laid them out and used my eye to make them even. There is a big difference between 1 and 12 so you want to make sure they’re spaced how you want them beforehand.

The nice thing about HTV or Iron-On Vinyl is that when you removed the excess from the carrier sheet, it leaves you with a sticky carrier sheet that can adhere easily to your milestone blanket.

When using the Cricut EasyPress, you need a hard surface and then a folded towel on that hard surface. They have now released some Cricut EasyPress Mats that take all the guesswork out. You do not want to use your EasyPress on an ironing board. You want a tiny bit of cushion under your project. Do not press directly on your hard surface. You know you’ve got a great adhesion when you can see the texture of the cotton weave come through the Iron-On Vinyl.

How to make a milestone blanket with Cricut

Preheat your Cricut EasyPress to 305ºF and lay your cotton on your mat or towel. Warm up your material for 5-10 seconds to take all the moisture out of the fabric. Lay your Iron-On Vinyl where you want it adhered and press for 25-30 seconds. Peel off the carrier sheet and finishing pressing the rest of your milestone numbers.make your own baby milestone blanket Once you’ve adhered all your numbers are words, turn the blanket over and press on the back of all the numbers and words for an additional 15 seconds. Wait 24 hours to wash your blankets or go ahead and prewash it and then adhere the words.

Now you’re done. So super easy but it takes a little bit of time to get your numbers evenly spaced and to finish the edges of your material. You’ll never need to spend $40+ on a monthly Milestone baby blanket again.cricut milestone blanket

These DIY baby milestone blankets are the best baby shower gifts you can give. They’re even better knowing you put your hard work into something so special.

Make a Memorable Game Night for Kids

December 7, 2017

Thank you Goliath Games for sponsoring this post. Pick up your favorite game today to enjoy the holiday season and beyond!Family Game Night ideas and how to keep children entertained. We love a good game night in our family. I’m here to show you how to memorable game night for kids in any age group. When game night comes in our family, we get really excited. When we get to spend quality time together laughing and making memories it makes us remember the more important things in life, like each other. When I have a stressful day with the kids, I have to find a way for them and myself to unwind. Goliath Games and Pressman Toy are just the items we need. They’re easy to play, easy to clean and a lot of fun for everyone. When having a game night, the most important thing to remember is to have fun! My personality isn’t always suited for fun but these games bring out the best in me.

Here are some of the games we play and why my kids love game night:
  • Shark Bite

Shark Bite is made by Pressman Toy and was so easy to set up and play. The kids had a REEL-ly fun time trying to pick up different fishes with the rod and always wondering when the shark would bite. To set it up, just snap the mouth open and place the colorful sea creatures in each space until it snaps. Roll the dice and use the fishing rods to pull each creature out but watch out – you never know when Shark Bite will snap! No batteries required.

  • Giggle Wiggle

Giggle Wiggle is made by Goliath Games and this one was Malakai’s favorite. Easy assembly and a blast to play. Just have the start at the bottom and race to the top to get him to hold the marbles. He moves like crazy so you’ll definitely have marbles that will fall off. Just pick them up and keep at it. I love this one because it’s a challenge to the kids and they laugh the whole time.

  • Pop the Pig

Pop the Pig is another Goliath Games top pick. You feed him cheeseburgers and press his head until he pops! This one is a suspense the whole game – you never know when he’s going to pop. All the cheeseburgers store in a compartment so you don’t have to worry about losing pieces. This game teaches numbers, colors and counting and is the #2 best selling game among kids the last 6 years.

  • Catch the Fox

Catch the Fox is made by Goliath Games and was France’s #1 toy in 2016. This one I loved cause his pants just disappear and you’re scrambling to pick up all the loose chickens. His pants are baggy enough that he’s trying to steal all the chickens in the coop. But then his pants just disappear and he’s left out in his underwear. The kids loved scrambling around trying to fill their coop with the loose chickens trying to win the game.

  • Doggie Doo

Doggie Doo is another Goliath Games classic but now it’s been redesigned. You feed the pup and spin the wheel to determine how many times you pump his leash. Kids love the inappropriate noises the Doggie Doo makes. This game has 120 million views on YouTube already. Once the doggie goes plop, just scoop it up and start again.

These games are great starters for kids of any age trying to learn strategy and competition.Goliath Games is the fourth-largest children’s game manufacturer in North America. Adi Golad started Goliath in the Netherlands in 1980 fueled by his passion to bring new toys to the market and today Goliath sells products in more than 75 countries with direct distribution in Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Australia, Canada and the USA. On July 4, 2008, Goliath opened its US subsidiary, headed by board game guru David Norman, and has been entertaining children and adults ever since. Examples include Rummikub®, Rubik’s Cube®, Tri-ominos®, Wordsearch, Pop the Pig®, Doggie Doo, Gooey Looey, and Catch the Fox.
