For the last two years I started going to a local event calling the Spooky Spark Soiree. It was my first time really stepping into the blogging world and connecting with others. I met some really wonderful woman there that I still have friendships with. It has also shown me to really open my mind creatively. If you've never heard of any Spark Events, you need to follow Margie on Instagram NOW! She can take anything that you'd thing was garbage or flat-out ugly and make it amazing!
Last year at Spooky Spark, we made these fun Halloween calendars that were almost countdown like or just use them to change the date. I think they are perpetual calendars but whatevs, I'm not going to be fancy here. We took a simply Tolsby frame from Ikea, a dollar store deck of flash cards and some binders rings and created this with all our leftover scrapbook paper. I love the way it looks on my mantle that I'm going to be sharing with you all soon!
