Did you know you can make your own custom labels with Cricut?

This baby shower that I helped throw for my friend was amazing! She just delivered her twins and I'm so proud of her – mainly because I can barely handle one infant, let alone two. When we had her baby shower, I wanted the girls to be able to take something with them when they left. We like to party simple so we just gave everyone a bag of popcorn adhered with labels we created using these super cute images from Cricut Design Space. I also made the mini onesie boxes and adhered a label using the same method. Links to the canvasses are at the bottom of this post.
I didn't want a piece of paper taped on our cellophane bags so I created super easy labels inCricut Design Space. Making labels with Cricut is so easy and it's a feature I use often. For a step-by-step process on the Print-then-Cut method can be found here.
First, choose your design and choose what shape you want your labels to be. I chose a white circle and placed the image on top of the circle. I then selected both shapes and attached them, then you'll choose to flatten them. I did it for the green and the pink labels.
Next, you'll use the Printable Vinyl available online or at your local craft store. You can use the sticker paper but it's too thick for me to pull through my printer and the vinyl is more flexible for the cellophane bags.
Before you fill your bags with popcorn, add your label you made with Cricut on to the front. Now add your popcorn and tie with your twine.
For the mini onesie boxes, I used the Sorbet Sampler Cardstock and cut the shape. I did use hot glue on the fold to be sure that it held together. I then filled them up with candy and looped them close. For the fronts, I cut out a circle using white glitter cardstock and adhered the label to that. For the font, I used Lemon Tuesday which is free for personal use. I love this font.

Can the Cricut make labels to attach to crochet hats?

You could use their printable iron-on or just standard iron-on. That’d be the perfect thing for hats. The stickers wouldn’t stick very well but if you didn’t want a permanent solution, that’d be an option.
