To celebrate the beautiful Cricut Wisteria Explore Air 2 Bundle, available exclusively at JOANN stores, I'm making this super cute Messy Hair Don't Care hoop with Cricut to display in my daughter's room. Not only does she have messy hair, she has a messy room which coordinates perfectly. This post contains affiliate links. At no additional cost to you, I receive a small commision. Thank you for your support.
Cricut's holographic sparkle vinyl has the perfect ability to catch different tones in the light. It's a lot more vibrant than their glitter vinyl, which has it coordinating with the Cricut Wisteria Explore Air 2. Everything Cricut related that you need is included in this amazing bundle and you'll have an amazing hoop art project in no time.
Supplies –
- Cricut Wisteria Explore Air 2 Bundle
- Cricut Sparkle Vinyl
- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Cricut XL Scraper Tool
- Cricut Weeding Tool
- Cricut Design Space File
- Embroidery Hoop
- Canvas material
Usually, when you buy canvasses at JOANN, they come in a pack of 2 or more which is more economical. I just took a utility knife and removed the canvas material from the frame. It's similar to what I did when I made my reverse canvas. Next, you'll cut your design for your hoop art with Cricut Design Space. I designed it and sized it to fit a 9″ wooden embroidery hoop. Remove the excess Cricut sparkle vinyl and keep the words on the white paper. Lay your transfer tape over the top of your vinyl and use your XL scraper tool to rub over the top. Peel off the transfer tape and that will also remove your vinyl from the white carrier sheet. Lay it on the center of your canvas material. You're going to want to peel slowly as you remove the transfer tape. You could easily use your EasyPress and use Iron-On Vinyl to do this same technique but I love the look of the pink sparkle vinyl and that's what I had that was included in the Cricut Wisteria Explore Bundle. They also have silver and gold in the Iron-On in the same sparkle included in the box. After your image is on the canvas, go ahead and lay the material over the bottom of the hoop and then lay the outer circle hoop and push down to secure it completely. After it's secured, use some scissors and cut away the excess canvas material.
Add a cute ribbon on the top to hang or use a Scotch wall hook and hang it inconspicuously. I love how this is displayed with these coordinating felt balls and this adorable planter with fern leaves as the hair. It literally has messy hair and it doesn't care 😉
I love using my Cricut Explore because of the Bluetooth capability. I often use it in conjunction with my Cricut Maker and it's a pretty little thing sitting nice and cosy with her sister. The Wisteria color is a favorite of mine and it coincides with Pantone's color of the year, Ultra Violet.

This looks really amazing, I am thinking of adding some fairy lights around them too, what do you think?
