I have become a big fan of Paper House Productions and their collections over the last few years. See how I made this wood fishing banner using their Great Outdoors Fishing Paper Crafting Kit and my Xyron Creative Station. This post contains affiliate links. Thank you for your support.
This masculine wood fishing banner was so easy to make. I found these wooden half circles at a local shop called The Wood Connection. They're perfect for this fishing scrapbooking paper and embellishments.
Supplies
- Paper House Great Outdoors Fishing Paper Kit
- Xyron Creative Station
- Foam Squares
- Paper House 3D Stickers
- Cricut Design Space File
- Half Circle Wood Shapes
Begin by tracing your half circles on to your paper. I just used the tip of my scissors and traced the shape then cut it out by hand.
Run your paper shapes and letters through the Xyron Creative Station and then adhere the shapes to the wood. Trim off any excess paper from the edges and then run a stamp pad along the edges so that they are distressed. After you've distressed the edges, go ahead and add some washi tape to one of the wooden circles and adorn it like you'd prefer. Add the ‘fishin' word on top of the washi tape area. Use your Xyron adhesive eraser to remove any excess adhesive. Use your foam squares and adhere the letters to each wooden circle. Now add your 3D Stickers to the final circle and a few other embellishments and you're done.
