My Siaki looooves Football. ‘Mr. Touchdown' had an awesome season and he soon discovered O'dell Beckhams sweet catch from the Super Bowl a few years ago. They even have a term that if you catch something that looks like it took a difficult stretch, you O'delled it. For his 8th birthday we threw him a New York Giants football party as a bit of a nod to his new found O'dell obsession.
I found these fun football helmet and ball shaped cookie cutters and made some extra buttery Rice Krispie treats and cut them out. I used these trays from Oriental Trading. Next time I'll line them with parchment so that we can reuse them later.
We did ice cream and cake after the kids came home from seeing Zootopia in the theaters. I got them all sugared up and sent them home to their parents. You're welcome!
I used some Hazel and Ruby scalloped washi tape to create the laces on my pitcher. I filled it with root beer so that it gives me the brown look of the ball.
All these fun plates, napkins, balloons and garland are all from Oriental Trading.
I grabbed these slap bracelets from OT and the kids went crazy for them. I kind of loved them too. It brought me back to my days at Beaverton Elementary and I'd use my $.25 to buy a slap bracelet at the school store.
I love these football party ideas and they're perfect for the Super Bowl too. All these decorations could be used to represent any football team.
