There is nothing cuter than something in mini form. Create these mini Santa letters and add them to this cute Santa letter mailbox from Magnolia. This post does contain affiliate links.
I participated in an ornament exchange with other Cricut bloggers. We were able to create whatever we wanted and when I saw this mini Santa letter box ornament at Target, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Supplies
- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore
- Black Cricut Pen
- Cricut Scoring Tool
- Red Cardstock
- White Cardstock
- Printer
- Design Space File
- Mini Santa Letter Ornament
The mailbox is this perfect hunter green color so I wanted to use a red envelope to really contrast those colors.I began with my white cardstock and printed the mini letters. They are shapes by Natalie Malan and I love them! Just print them out and cut, for a more detailed instruction on how to do this, visit here. It's the same with the Explore and the Maker.I then loaded my red cardstock into the Maker. It starts with using the stylus and then it will prompt you to load your pen and then it will do the drawing. This is the same cartridge using Natalie Malan's shapes. With the Maker, you can print on colored cardstock but I decided I wanted to draw the Santa Baby instead. To change this, just click on the icon of the shape and choose for it to be printed rather than drawn.
I mailed these mini Santa letters and mailbox along with a gift card so she can have a night off from cooking. Aren't they the cutest! Let's see what the other bloggers made too –
