Pokemon Poke Ball Cupcakes

Detective Pikachu hits theaters this Friday so let's celebrate in the most Pokemon way! These Poke Ball Cupcakes are perfect for any Pokemon fan to serve at a birthday party or any other Pokemon themed event you're having.

Supplies for your Easy To Make Pokemon Cupcakes

It's really easy to create these cupcakes and the easiest way I've found is just to buy them from the store already made and frosted with red or white frosting. You can ask them just to put a flat dollop of frosting on the cupcake or make them easily using a box mix.

Time needed: 15 minutes

How to Make Your Poke Ball Cupcakes

  1. Roll Out Fondant and Cut Your Fondant Circles

Use a rolling pin and a flat surface to roll out your red and white fondant. Use a 2″ biscuit cutter and cut 6 circles out of each color. Cut them all in half. Lay them on top of your frosting to create one half red and the other half white.

I think these Poke Ball Cupcakes are perfect for any Pokemon fan. I'm not a huge fan of fondant but I do love the look of it. Just choose a good frosting that you know that you'll love. I used red store-bought frosting here and it's great for kids but a little sugary for us adults. I suggest just using a white frosting so that you don't get that red dye taste that can happen sometimes.
