Have you ever wanted to make a baby blanket using a Cricut Maker? I'm here to show you how easy it is to create the Half Hexi Quilt and you have free access to make it when you buy your very own Cricut Maker.
The Half Hexi Quilt pattern available in Design Space is seriously so easy. My least favorite thing to do when quilting is cutting fabric. Using the rotary blade on the Cricut Maker has changed everything I do. You will still need your cutting mat and hand-held rotary blade so don't toss those out the window.
Supplies
- Cricut Maker
 - Desired fabric in the lengths specified on the spec sheet
 - Backing fabric
 - Binding fabric
 - Batting
 - Thread
 - Sewing Machine

The fabric I used is a mix of a few designers but it is mainly Cotton+Steel. Here are the links below to some of the fabrics I've used:
First things first, read all the instructions from the spec sheet before you cut your fabric.

Thank you Lindsay for sharing MAKE A HALF HEXI BABY BLANKET USING A CRICUT MAKER post. Love the adorable prints you used- turned out beautiful.
How long would you estimate it takes to create this blanket? Rate of difficulty?

So sorry to not reply sooner. I’d recommend this for any beginner. The Maker makes the cuts perfect so you can match up your seams. The only thing I’d recommend for the beginner is to make the bottom straight rather than zigzag like I did. I did this easily in a few hours.
