With Cricut offering three machines lately, people still often question if the Cricut Explore Air 2 is still an awesome machine and the answer is yes! Check out my Top 5 Cricut Explore projects below and tell me what one is your favorite!
The Cricut Explore Air 2 still gets a lot of use these days as it's still a classic and dependable Cricut machine. These Cricut Explore Air Projects are for all levels. Whether you're just starting out and learning your machine or if you're ready to push it to the limits, these Cricut projects are perfect.
What Projects Can I make with the Cricut Explore Air 2?
When cutting the Cricut brand patterned cardstock is so easy on the Explore Air 2. I set my smart dial to the Cardstock+ setting and let is loose. If you find that some of your edges are still sticking, don't unload it yet. Just hit the C button again and your project will cut in the exact spots giving you crisp edges all around.
Print then Cut on your Explore is a lot easier than you can imagine. I like using the features because I get no white edges and perfect printing every time. If you're having problems with the print quality, check the box that allows you to use your own printer settings and then select photo print. This will help avoid any streaks you may get.
Cutting leather with the Cricut Explore Air 2 is easy if you have the right items. Use transfer tape to cover the fuzzy backing of the leather so that your mat stays clean. Then use the Deep Cut Blade for the perfect depth of cut for the leather. Use Cricut Leather Sheets as an inexpensive, yet beautiful bow for your child.
Creating personalized party decorations is another one of my favorite uses of the Cricut Explore. My friend was expecting a set of boy and girl twins so I created these custom stickers, cupcake toppers, and my most favorite Welcome Babies sign!
Custom home decor is another use of the Cricut Explore and I couldn't be happier with this Fixer Upper copycat Supermarket sign. Joanna has really left her mark on the interior design world because I haven't met a single person yet that hasn't loved something she's done.
